System Student ID

Values are populated using the upi field in the Students table (this is Wonde’s Unique Student Identifier).

External Student ID

Values are populated using the mis_id field in the Students table (if available).

State Student ID

Values are populated using the education_details_data_upn field in the Students table (if available).

Last Name

Values are populated using the surname fields in the Students table.

First Name

Values are populated using the forename fields in the Students table.

Year Group (Current Grade Level)

Values are populated using the year_data_code field in the Students table.

English as an Additional Language (EL Status*)

Values are populated using the extended_details_data_english_as_additional_language field in the Students table.

FRL Status*

Values are populated using extended_details_data_free_school_meals

field in the Students table (where 1 = Free, 0 = Paid). Not visible by default.

Foster Care Status*

Values are populated using extended_details_data_ever_in_care field in the Students table. Not visible by default.

Gender*

Values are populated using the gender field from the Students table.

Grade Level at the Time

Not available. Grade Level at the Time references the grade the student was enrolled in during the time of the specific referenced event and is not available for Wonde.

Homeless Status*

Values are not populated by default.

Is SPED*

Values are equal to "In Special Education" if a student has a value in extended_details_data_sen_status field in the Students table. All other students are considered "Not in Special Education". Not visible by default.

Migrant Status*

Values are not populated by default.

Military Family Status*

Values are not populated by default.

Primary Ethnicity*

Values are populated using the extended_details_data_ethnicity field in the Students table.

Pupil Premium

Values are populated using the extended_details_data_premium_pupil_indicator field in the Students table (where 1= Pupil Premium, 0 = Not Pupil Premium)

SEND (SPED Status*)

Values are populated using the student's category_description field in the students_sen_needs table or the extended_details_data_sen_status field in Students table. All other students are considered to have "No disability".

First Name

Values are populated using the forename field in the Staff table.

Last Name

Values are populated using the surname field in the Staff table.

Email

Values are populated using the contact_details_data_emails_primary field in the Staff table.

School Year

Calendars are linked to school years using the end_at_date field in the Calendar table. If the month of the date is September or later, the Year + 1 is used, otherwise, the year of the calendar date is used.

In Session

Days are considered "In Session" using information in the Type field and/or Event Description field in the Events table in Wonde or in the calendar file uploaded to My Data.

Dates are identified as Not In Session if:

• Type field has any of the following values: Holiday, Half-Term Holiday, Public Holiday, Staff Training, or Term-Time Closure
• Type = WEEK and Event Description = Non-Academic Week
• Type = AMSTATUS and Event Description = Holiday for all
• Type = PMSTATUS and Event Description = Holiday for all
• Type = Day and Event Description contains school closure or School closed to pupils

All other days are considered In Session.

School Year

Enrollments are linked to school years using the end_at_date field in the Calendar table.

Entry Date

Values are populated using the education_details_data_admission_date_date field in the Students table if the date is later than the first day of school. Otherwise the entry date is defaulted to the school start date (start_at_date) in the Years table.

Exit Date

Values are populated using the education_details_data_leaving_date field in the Students table. If the Leave Date (LD) field is NULL, the exit date is defaulted to the last day of the school year for their school (years.end_at_date field in the Years table).

Exit Code

Values are not populated by default.

No Show

Only active records are shared so records are defaulted to not be identified as No Show.

School

Enrollments are linked to current schools.

School Year

N/A - Only current class enrollment data are available.

Class Entry Date

N/A - Only current class enrollment data are available.

Class Exit Date

N/A - Only current class enrollment data are available.

Staff

Class enrollments are linked to staff using the UPI field from the Classes Employees table, the sz_schoolid and ID fields from the Classes table, and the ID from the Classes Lessons table.

Attendance Value

The Attendance Value is the sum of the Attendance Codes divided by the number of Sessions from the Attendance Sessions table. A student would have an attendance value of 0.5 if they were present for morning session but absent for the afternoon session.

Attendance code values are equal to 0 (absent) if Type = AUTHORISED or UNAUTHORISED. Values are equal to 1 (present) if Type = PRESENT or if Code = ''-'.

Absence Code

Values are populated using the Type field in the Attendance Codes table. A code is considered "absent" if the Type value is AUTHORISED or UNAUTHORISED.

School

School is based on a student's currently enrolled school only. Attendance data for a previously enrolled school would not be included.

School Year

Wonde will only return behavior data for the current academic year.

School

Behavior incidents are linked to schools using the student’s current enrollment. Behavior incidents from a student's previously enrolled school would not be included.

Incident Date

Values are populated using the start_date_date field in the Exclusions table.

Incident Time of Day
