PSAT 8/9 – Schoolzilla Pro

PSAT 8/9 is an assessment that helps teachers and students determine where students need to focus so that they’re ready for college when they graduate from high school. It tests the same skills and knowledge as the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, and PSAT 10 — in a way that makes sense for their grade level, 8 and 9. PSAT 8/9 establishes a baseline measurement of college and career readiness upon entering high school.

How We Connect

To download your PSAT 8/9 data, log in to the Collegeboard score portal and download the electronic score report file(s) in the delimited (.csv) format. Information about the most current layout is available here:

System Student ID	Scores are linked to students using the Student ID column in the file. We match to students in the student information system using the following (in order of preference): The DistrictStudentID column matches the System Student ID* in your SIS. The StateStudentID column matches the State Student ID* in your SIS If no overlap of System and State IDs in your SIS, the SecondaryID column matches the System Student ID* in your SIS. If no overlap of System and State IDs in your SIS, The SecondaryID column matches the State State Student ID in your SIS. The NameLast, NameFirst and BirthDate columns exactly match the Last Name, First Name and Date of Birth in your SIS. (Active Students) The NameLast, NameFirst and BirthDate columns exactly match the Last Name, First Name and Date of Birth in your SIS. System School ID	Scores are linked to schools using the AiCode column in the file. This is matched to a school in My Schools. Please contact support to resolve incorrect or failed matches.
School Year	Scores are linked to school years using the Latest PSAT Date column in the file. Scores that occurred during or after the month of July are considered part of the upcoming school year.
Percentile Score	Percentile Scores are loaded from the Percentile Nat User Psat columns in the file for Total, EBRW, Math Section, Reading, Writ Lang, Math Test, Sci Cross, Hist Socst Cross, Words Context, Comm Evidence, Expr Ideas, Eng Convent, Heart Algebra, and Probslv Data.
Proficiency Score	Proficiency scores are loaded from the EbrwCcrBenchmark and MathCcrBenchmark columns in the file.
