Schoolzilla currently requires uploading the following files via My Data at least annually.
(Required) Holidays
The following template file can be used to submit your Holidays data. The file should include one row for every out of session day during the school year excluding weekends. If the SystemSchoolID field is left blank, we will assume the day is out of session for all schools in your district.
Before uploading your Holiday file, please verify the following:
- The file includes the original header row
- All values in the Date column are valid dates (e.g. 2015-10-09 or 10/09/2016)
- All values in the SchoolYear4Digit column are valid integers (e.g. 2019 for the 2018-2019 school year)
- The file is saved as a .csv
- Any SystemSchoolIDs with leading 0s are saved with their leading 0s in the .csv file.
(Required) Terms
The following template file can be used to submit your Terms data. The file should include one row for each term. At a minimum, the term file should include 1 record per school year with a term type of "Year" and TermName of "SY". If the SystemSchoolID field is left blank, we will assume the term is valid for all schools in your district.
Before uploading your Term file, please verify the following:
- The file includes the original header row
- All values in the Start Date and End Date columns are valid dates (e.g. 2015-10-09 or 10/09/2016)
- All values in the SchoolYear4Digit column are valid integers (e.g. 2019 for the 2018-2019 school year)
- The file is saved as a .csv
- Any SystemSchoolIDs with leading 0s are saved with their leading 0s in the .csv file.
- At a minimum, the term file should include 1 record per school year with a term type of "Year"
(Optional) Graduation Requirements
The following template file can be used to submit your Graduation Requirements data. The file should include one row for each graduation plan and Credit Area Code.
- GraduationPlanID - Should represent the unique ID stored in Tyler for each Graduation Plan
- GraduationPlanName - Should represent the graduation plan name you have stored in Tyler
- CreditArea - English, Electives, Mathematics, etc.
- CreditAreaCode - Should represent the internal Tyler code for the given CreditArea (EN, MA, etc.)
- CreditsRequired - Should represent the number of credits required for a given credit area (4, 4.5, 7, etc.)
- Isdefaultgraduationplan - This field is optional but, if populate, should be either 1 or 0 if a given graduation plan is the default option for your district.
Before uploading your Graduation Requirements file, please verify the following:
- The file includes the original header row
- The file is saved as a .csv
