As a teacher, you want to track various groups of your students to help you provide the best possible instruction and support. For example, students that need additional academic support, or students that have attendance and behavior issues. Monitoring groups of students is easy using the Student Intervention Group feature.
Other student groups you may want to create as a teacher are:
- Students who are struggling academically, e.g., performing poorly on assessments and failing courses.
- Students with behavior issues, e.g., students with a high number of suspensions or referrals.
- Students that are performing particularly well or poorly across a number of metrics by applying multiple filters across different strategic pillars.
You can differentiate instruction and support strategies for your student groups and track the group over time to see which students have improved, declined, and which students now meet the criteria for the group, but did not previously.
When you meet with a student or parent and would like to get a more holistic understanding of the student, you can access the student’s profile by clicking the student's name to navigate to the Student Profile. Here you see all of the student’s demographic information and performance over time on various metrics.
