Overview
Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP) is a summative assessment for grades 2-8 in Alabama. It is given once per year in the spring, and the first administration was in spring 2020-21. Students in grades 2-8 take math and ELA, and there is an additional science assessment for grades 4, 6, and 8 only. The assessment is aligned to the Alabama Courses of Study.

No information is currently available on how to export the required files. If you are unable to export a supported layout, please contact Support and include information about the vendor you are using for administering these assessments.

Scores are linked to schools using the SchoolName column in the file. These are matched to a school in My Schools. Please contact support to resolve incorrect or failed matches. |
| School Year | Because there is no date or year in the file itself, scores are linked to school years based on the drop down option selected when uploading files via My Data. |
| Proficiency Score | Overall scores are sourced from the PerformanceLevel column in the file. |

Frequently Asked Questions
Are Grade 2 scores included in the results?
Yes, Grade 2 scores are included in the proficiency rating by default, but it is possible to filter out these scores. If you would like remove Grade 2 scores from your metrics, please contact Support. Please note, this will apply to all school years ACAP is administered. Schoolzilla does not currently support different filtering logic by year.
