Overview
As part of the Delaware System of Student Assessment (DeSSA), Delaware administers the Smarter Balanced Assessment to all students in grades 3-8 in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics in the spring of each school year. These assessments measure how well students in grades 3–8 are mastering the state standards in English language arts/literacy and mathematics.
